Ok guys, anyone fitted one of these before?

Supplied by Bathzone, instructions are worse than useless.

Trying to work out how to connect the inlet valve to pipework. Its a really odd fitting that they supply, which has a chrome nut, rubber washer, metal rubber and what looks like a small olive, but has a split in it.

10mm copper does fit nicely and I can only assume that the fitting supplied is basically a compression fitting, which seems pretty odd for an inlet valve..........

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Ring the manufacturers! You may feel like a d**k but chances are you'll never meet them....

If the olive has a split, normally 45degs then it's for plastic pipes

ive done some duravit stuff, cant remember the model name of it tho. it was a pan, plastic cistern and then a china cover to go over the cistern. we had to chase cold feed up the wall with a male iron turned out just above the cistern, make the braided hose onto the male iron then put the cover on.

Had a new Duravit cistern and WC recently. It kept overflowing (into the bowl) and it took my plumber ages to find a tiny piece of grit in the diaphragm - sort of embedded there, not loose. He used sand paper or similar to fettle it. Hope yours is OK.
