Question.
Family member has 2 toilets. One upstairs and one down.
The upstairs toilet won't flush away properly and backs up for 5 seconds and bubbling noise at night.
water board have been out looking at drains and ok. Could It be faulty durgo above that upstairs toilet?
Not my areas and I don't know what happens with a faulty durgo.
It's 17 year old
Thanks

Remove durgo and see if it flushes properly then. If it does, you need a vent not a durgo.

Durgo is an AAV... only allows air "in".

Yeah.

Was out the roof but 15 years ago it was brought in loft space with durgo.
I wonder if this has caused an issue?

Remove it and cover open pipe with cling film, if cling film rises when toilet is flushed then you have a problem within drainage.

Update.
Pulled durgo off and all good.
Will run for 24h then fit new one.
This is not my area so all help was appreciated.

No stock local so ordered in. Be ok off for further testing.

It's been causing terrible problems. More than you'd expect tbh. Really effects water run off.

Any further problems then back out the roof pipe will have to go
