Hi

Would anybody be able to give me some advice on the following please
I have a loft that has no felt under the tiles. I have had to cover everything I put up there in plastic sheets. My loft hatch drops down so everytime I open it I get a face full of dirt and not to mention the black on my light carpet in the hallway.

I need to put something over the joists to stop all of the back dirt getting everywhere that comes in through the tiles.

Would it be possible to use membrane that is used for the garden as I understand it has to be breathable

Many thanks
Nik

Don't see why not. start at the top and run horizontal then overlap the next and so on.
