i have just replaced the coil on my golf and there seems to be an earth strap coming from the engine and going nowhere! where do i attach the other end?
If it's a smallish flat one coming from the valve cover, it should go to the coil mounting bracket.
Don't start the car with it off or you might do damage to the ecu
