how important is it to sleeve the earths in a junction box as i can`t be sure whether i did so before i enclosed in loft ceiling void(doh) ...should i get the saw back out to cut another hole to access it

i wouldn't say its vital. its a noncompliance with BS7671 but provided the wiring is neat so it can't touch anything it shouldn't be a safety issue.

1: earth must be sleeved

2: JB must be accessable. not buried in a ceiling void

i guess i`ll earth i`ll get the saw out and earth strip it for peace of mind,will stillbe in ceiling void though as there nowhere else for it.

then youll have to crimp or solder it.
