It may be a silly question but when do you need to earth the pipes coming from bathroom taps etc.?
I believe that all copper pipes need to be earthed
If the tap, connects to a small piece of copper pipe/isolating valve - and then into plastic piping.... what do you need to do?
I have copper pipe coming from boiler, then plastic pipes taking the water across to the bathroom, then copper pipes connecting to the taps. I cannot see any earthing on the pipes near the taps.
Do i need to add these to something?
I am also changing a couple of the taps and will be using plastic pipes/joints - what do i need to do in this case (obviously i know the pipe isnt metal so doesnt need to be earthed but what about the actual tap ? )
