salesman tell porkies, the aquasensor (hall effect type) is on the store.
I think what dangermouse means is the different sensors and software on the 937 require the back-pack store to be there otherwise it won't work properly.
Actually the 937 works a treat with the back-pack and delivers water much faster that when working in stand-alone '837' mode. Well worth the extra cash IMHO.
If you wanted a smaller boiler, physically that is, why didn't you fit a 837? Which is the same combi but for sensors and software!
