I live in a flat which has 2 Economy 7 Heaters - one in bedroom and one in front room. When I moved in they both worked.

Now all of a sudden the one in the front room has stopped working - the fuse light kicks in at the usual time but it does not heat up??

Bedroom works fine and hot water is fine

Does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong?

Thanks!

It is a fused outlet - there is no switch - I assumed the fuse was OK as the light does come on every night?? I will check when I get home if I can take the fuse out.

Do you know where the thermal cutout is on the heater?

Many Thanks for your reply

Michelle

Depends if the FCU has been wired the right way round....

Inside.

Do you have instructions?

Or post the make/model here, someone will probably know. I think also that some storage heaters have fusible links which aren't resettable.
