I have a Sangamo mechanical timer big old thing. When I read the meter at the week end it was stuck for several hours at 7am. I have had a look tonight Monday and it is now at the correct time (Less1 hour)
How can this happen ?

Mechanical timers sometimes get stuck when it's time to switch.

Keep an eye on it, if it does it again phone your supplier and tell them your time clocks stopped and needs to be replaced.
