I have made a edit to a post I made in Hardware but it does not show that I made a edit,does it not show for the poster but others can see that it has been edited,I should add that it does not concern me in the least just an observation.

It is so that you cannot make a post and then get a reply and afterwards edit your post to make the reply look stupid.

You also have a time lock for a short while after posting where you can edit without the edited tag appearing.
