edpm or pond liner ?

Is there any difference other than price ?
Can I use pond liner for my flat roof of 10sqmtrs ?
Could pond liner be better i.e. tougher ?
opinions and advice please.

Pond liner rubber and epdm are different materials.

Slightly different chemical make-up, apparently.
Read somewhere, forget where at present, but additional chemicals for the sun exposure (or something like that) on the roofing stuff.

yeah, I wonder though. Pond liners suffer the sun and water the same way as a roof covering.I Will be safe and fit the proper stuff though, just in case.

I know what you mean.
It would be interesting to find the actual difference in lifespan for both materials in real world situations and how that compares to price difference.
Until someone tries it (perhaps they have somewhere?) your doing the right thing by going with the proper roofing stuff me thinks.
