I’ve got 3 2440x1220 18mm OSB3 boards to do the roof on my workshop. Dimension are 2850x2700, and I’m having a hard time working out an efficient way of cutting the boards to size to suit the roof. Anyone good at working this stuff out that wouldn’t mind giving me an idea?

Thanks in advance

Use two sheets uncut to make a square 2440 x 2440.
Cut the other sheet lengthwise into strips 260, 410, 670-ish.
Use the 260 and 410 strips as shown.
Fill the corner square from your remaining 670 x 2440 piece.

There are various permutations of that but fundamentally I’d be surprised if you can do it with fewer pieces or fewer cuts....

We often use 'support catchers' rather than cut a board as long as it is practical to do so.
