Electric 2 way switch

Hi
Can you help have taken an old two way switch which has a red yellow and blue feed with a sperate red cable which bridges the switches.I have tried wiring in the new switch with little sucess as only one half of my kitchen lights come on what am i doing wrong

Mis wiring it. Look in the reference section.

i presume you mean 2 gang not 2 way.

i suspect that the red is your permanent live which needs to be fed to both switches (hence the link wire) and the yellow and blue are your two switched lives.

Yup - sounds like it.....

red to com, link from com to com.

yellow to L1 of one switch, blue to L! on the other.

If they are the wrong way around, swap yellow and blue.

yellow and blue should have red ID sleeve.
