Electric Cooker?

Is it worth changing from a gas stove to an electric one? Or is electricity still too expensive.

Best ask the lady of the house, if appropriate.....she wants gas, but no gas in the village....how about propane? Only if you're gonna clean it, pet.

Got gas and electric. No real preference as long as the cooker works. Just wanted to know which is cheaper, safer, etc.....
