We have a small downstairs toilet (Pan and wash basin). On an adjacent wall there is already a fused spur outlet fitted but nothing wired to it. Anticipating the fitting of a small electrical radiator such as Kudox Flat Electric Towel Radiator from Screwfixit the wiring should be straightforward as it is away from all water sources and indeed adjacent to the proposed installation position. (6 inches away).

However the device (150W) does not appear to have any thermostatic control nor even an Off/On switch so I assume it is internally self regulating. (I have asked screwfix and am awaiting an answer) It would be nice to switch it off though, so is a fused switch spur the best solution?

Thanks Mark, thinking about it now 150W is a bit low virtually a hot lightbulb !

OK for towels but not for heating the small room in general and there is no other source of heating in there. So to heat the room as well we're talking a heater rather that a towel rail. When does the power become important, 500W, 1KW?

There are other models with higher powers but presumably they would have controls then such as timers, thermostat.
