Got a friend whos Gainsborough type 400X is playing up. Looking to replace it for as similar model possible.

i.e its a fairly square shape and feed pipe enters through inside at the bottom right hand corner from the wall behind. Id imagine this is fairly generic but would appreciate any tips.

Also does anyone know the power rating, see it written anywhere.

Done a google but results inconclusive. There appears to be a range of 7.2 to 10.8Kw

Have a look at the MCB and the cable size that supply it, and look to see if the cable passes through insulation esp. in the loft. These are the determining factors of power available for the new shower.
