My friends electric shower is acting up.
She has a switch inside the cupboard that turns the power on and off to the shower. It has a light on it. Its not a pull cord one. Its a face plate type one.
When flicking it on, sometimes the red light will come on. Sometimes not. Sometimes it just flashes momentarily.
With this, sometimes the shower will come on after repeatedly turning the power switch in the cupboard on and off.
Seeing as the red light is not coming on most of the time, do you think the issue is at or before this point?
Or, could it be a faulty shower? Surely the red light on the wall switch would stay on?
She did say that the switch can get very warm indeed.
I looked inside the switch today and all cables firmly in place.
Its been working fine since installation some time ago...
