I have just cut in a spirotect magna on the return pipe just above the boiler I took great care not to let any water into the boiler , but some always gets in. when I switched the boiler back on the fault lights read
on on on .
The boiler is a Baxi Solo HE 15. any help would be welcomed

Is the system sealed or open vented ?

and have u turned refiled hole bled allrads starting bottom working your way up

the boiler is probably full of air.

not come across a sealed one before but then i mostly seen them from boiler swaps from older solos

Thanks guys for your help. All sorted, I had dislodged a conector to to PBC . As an OAP I can not afford the silly prices that heating service engineers demand, its like petrol you can only charge so much then people stop using it. If it was not for people like you willing to offer free advice we would be in a sorry position. Many thanks
