Can anyone help please?

When I remove the main light bulb in my bedroom the light stops working in the hall downstairs and my daughters bedroom?

Does anyone know why this is?

Many thanks

Put your light bulb back, then remove the other 2, but one at a time. What happens?

Hang on - lamp removed from 2 in series is the same as lamp switched off, so surely this would have been noticed before?

And them being a tad on the dim side?

Exactly the same things occurred to me when I saw Eric's suggestio - but then I looked back at the OP and wondered whether we're being told everything - e.g. maybe something was 'done' to the lighting system yesterday!

Kind Regards, John
