I had a stroppy email from a customer complaining bitterly that he has measured the height from floor up to the back boxes for 3 switches and the measurement varies by 15mm.....

so switch 1 in hallway - 1375mm

switch 2 kitchen -1360mm

switch 3 kitchen -1380mm

the 2 in the same room are over 5 metres apart, walls to be painted.

What Numpty!

(I know the electrician used a laser level to position sockets etc around kitchen area)

I stopped all work in the area until he agreed that he approved the position and specification of every electrical item in the room (customer had instructed electrician verbally). Im not playing those games, I can see arguments starting over the final balance, he sounds like a customer thats going to withhold final payment for invented snagging reasons.......
