Electrolux Dishwasher just keeps running

I have got an Integrated Electrolux dishwasher ESL5201LO and just keep running nearly all evening.
Looks like dishes had been rinsed but not cleaned properly and loads of dirty water in the base.
Mopped all the water out, checked for blockages to no avail.
Done a pre rinse and it seems to be ok, which proves the draining is ok.
I have done another cycle and it sound like it’s working, I’ve opened the door after 20 minutes and the water doesn’t seem to be getting warm.
I can reset the machine ok, then I set a pre rinse away and it empties the machine saves me mopping it out with a cup.
Any ideas??

If the heating element has failed then it’s not going to finish , pre rinse uses cold water.

No I think it uses cold water there’s no temperature mentioned on that cycle in the manual.
