hi our 2 year old double oven has gone wrong, the bottom main electric oven turns on the fan works but the temperature wont go up,it warms up a bit but you couldnt cook in it,bit annoying as its not old,any ideas
Likely that your fan oven element has met its maker.
Turn power off and remove the rear plate from the oven.
Look at the element to see if it is deformed or any holes in (most are very obvious visually that they have failed).
Easy enough to remove and replace just a couple of screws on the inside and pull the element carefully disconnect the wires at the back noting which went where.
If no obvious damage check the element for continuity, should be somewhere around 20 to 30 ohms depending on wattage rating.
