Electromagnetic interference through speakers

unsure how I can sort this out, thought i would post it on these forums if anyone would be qualified enough to offer advice?

noisy PSU on the keyboard, quite common in laptops,
get an isolating transformer to go inline

Would be fine (obviously you would need 2 for a stereo feed) or an active DI box MIGHT work (luck of the draw)

if you go to the blue room forum (theatre based) and search for laptop noise, or similar, you will get loads of results.

One other thing, you really shouldn't plug in/unplug live inputs, it WILL kill your speakers.

yea your right I shouldn`t had done that with live audio (not great on the monitos)

just realised both stores selling the isolator are out of stock ack!
