hi,
i have a eljan jb40-50 warm air heater which functions correctly for c/h but the burner will not fire for h/w, the pilot is alight but nothing happens when a call for heat is selected . i have power to the gas valve , i suspect the solenoid is faulty. any help would be apprieciated.

You may well be right - so a corgi bod is required. New gas valve may be cheaper than a new solenoid :roll:
