Hi, I have large bare block walls in my garage (which I am converting into a studio type living area, including small kitchen) and had intended to 12.5mm plasterboard them using everbuild pink grip dry fix and then double lining paper, then wallpaper over that. however I have just been offered enough elliotis 2400 x 1200 x 18mm plywood at the same price that it would cost me for the plasterboard, the room can afford the extra depth so my first instinct is to use the ply as I think it is a real bargain.

Are there any plusses/minuses to going either way...what would you do?

Cheers, Dave.

Hi Noseall, thanks for your reply. Although I don't know from your sparse answer whether being wood is a plus or a minus.
