Not everyone can see that forum.

What kind of email account do you actually use? Do your messages remain on the server, is it just emails or also appointments you want to download?

If you use something like your ISPs email server, then there is a chance the emails stay online and you can use GMail to setup an account pointing to that server. If the messages are all downloaded to your computer and removed from the server, it will be more difficult.

Check your account settings in Outlook. If POP3 then emails are deleted from the server when you download. If IMAP then all emails remain on server unless you delete them, so this would be the best option for you. You should then be able to set your tablet up with the same parameters to sync with the email server and read/send etc from tablet or PC.

Email should be set up with the same settings you have on your PC. But,, these Samsung Tab's depend on a wifi connection for the internet. No good in your toolbag if there's no unsecured wifi to connect to, or a secured wifi, you don't know the password for. ;) ;)

Use Gmail, its easy to use with Android because it planned for in the system.

I't as easy as putting your email server address and password into a box via the Accounts section in settings
