I just don’t have a clue.
I've not been long in my first house and I'm finding things out as I go along, so please be gentle.
I have a water tank in my loft, but it's completely empty of water, so I guess that I am being fed from the mains.
Is this a good idea ?
Should/could I therefore remove the tank ?
Or would I be better reverting back to the tank ?
The cold water via all taps could probably take my hand off if I opened it up fully but the hot is as slow as a carthorse with its legs tied.
I have an emersion tank in the second bedroom and a small boiler downstairs ... not sure what is doing what, but in the time it takes to run a bath, I could watch a game of footie and some.
I guess I'm just looking for the best, or a suitable solution for the whole house, without it costing too much.
What could I do to improve the hot speed? Or/and what would be best for the whole house?
Any information or advice would be greatly apprieciated.
Kind Regards,
