Hello,

I'm looking for a way to make sanding emulsion on walls easier - I hear 'yes aren't we all?'

The walls have had the emulsion slapped on so thick the wall finish is terrible, and the poor plastering below the emulsion isn't that great either.

I've been using a sanding pad which is taking an eternity! (I have several rooms to do).

My question is should I try a drywall sander? Would this be too aggressive?

I'm not worried about having to fill and sand high spots etc, and I'm quite handy so confident I would master the technique of the drywall sander.

Any suggestions on getting the job done easier/quicker and less dust?
