Please excuse the ignorance I’m trying to rectify this myself. It’s been out of action cor a long time and now time to sort.

New Skylo compact enclosed cistern. Using side fill entry.

1) won’t mount on wall due to water pipes and any height - is the solution to build a framework to house it??

Given there are no previous mounting points or holes on the wood or walls, did the last one just balance on the inlet and flush?!

2) how do I connect from the copper / to cistern thread? Was thinking speed fit?

Any advice welcomed.

What do the instructions say about fixing to a wall? Pipe it in copper, but that's just me. For DIY probably best isolation valve and Flexi hose.
