hi all............
always get good advice from you kind guys/gals!
anyway, i'm considering laying an engineered oak top layer floor (14mm) in the living room (23m sq) on a concrete floor.
what would be the best underlay to use with this?
thank you in advance...

Andy

Ive had my 25sqm engineered oak wood floor in my new extension for about 4 months now. when i poured the concrete slab floor we left about 50mm to allow 1 inch battens beneath the oak floor. This means we have an air gap and a nice feel underfoot with the smallest amount of give.

Might not be possible in you case to lay the floor on battens, don't know about underlay, sorry.
