Hi All,
I live in a Dorma bungalow and at current have limited access into the eaves. There are some holes cut in the plasterboard by the previous owner but I wan't to tidy these up and add some more access points as well as maybe enlarge them. The trusses are at 400mm centres leaving about 350mm between the actual trusses to crawl through.
From all the research I have found, it seems like cutting a truss is a big no-no. Surely there must be a way of enlarging the access hatch. I have provided a sketch of my roof structure to help if anybody has any interest.
Many Thanks
Nigel
