EOGB boiler problems with lockout on a Myson 60

Boiler ran for 20 minutes then went into lockout. Boiler then hummed as if couldn't turn motor. I changed the motor for an EOGB MO217003. Old motor was hard to turn. Still got the same problem and pump and motor seem free to turn. The motor does get very hot though - too hot to touch.

So now with a new motor the boiler runs for 20 minutes then goes into lockout. Then the boiler cannot restart until left for a while.

Please help as the weather is getting cold. (last serviced a couple of months ago).

It was me who changed the motor which did need changing but I am worried something caused the last motor to fail and that something is not fixed.

How hot should a motor get? Too hot to touch, even without the pump attached so just spinning fan. I can turn the motor and fan smoothly and easily by hand.

Still getting lockout.

i meant the guy that serviced it 2 months ago.

obviously I cant see the boiler. if i could I could probably give you an idea.
hence you need to calll someone in.

But if you wanted me to guess. id go fuel pump.

A new photo electric cell sorted it out. And the motor is ok getting that hot.
