HI i have a roofer over today and would appreciate a few pieces of advice as im keen to see it's done properly (witnessed a few issues that have concerned me). The install is on a flat roof with parapet wall.
Should the perimeter of the roof (100mm edge?) be bonded with contact adhesive over the water based primer adhesive for the rest of the roof.
Are there any particular details needed round the upstand? It looks like from what ive seen online the corners are cut then 'patches' are bonded up the four corners then another layer to the top of the roof light?
Any details on how they run the drains through parapet walls to downpipes? Ive been told it's lead flashing but there isn't any and the roofer comes today to lay epdm roof. I found a pic of some lead flashing i guess this has got to go in first?
Or they install this after over the top or this sits underneath also?
Anything else i should ensure?
