I am shortly having a DPC in my new house.
The kitchen tiles are victorian quarry , and I have been told there is damp underneath. The company that is carrying out the work has recommended epoxy resin over the top.
How will this affect the look of the tiles ? as I have worked very hard to restore them. Second opinion please .

This is very unusual, if you need a DPM it must really go under the tiles.

I'd get a second opinion, but I'm afraid that opinion would probably stretch to @pull it all up and put a proper DPM down'

Epoxy over victorian tiles? not something I've ever come across.
