Not sure if any one can help with this.

We're installing an Esse woodburning kitchen stove (just like an aga, but burns wood). We'd like to link it to our existing central heating system but obviously don't need to run it in the summer. Someone suggested we could use it alongside a conventional gas boiler provided some kind of thermostatic valve system was installed. This I am told would fire up the boiler if the Esse was cold and cut out once the Esse had warmed up.

Has anyone heard of such a system or how it is achieved?

You need to connect it to a new 'neutral' point in the heating system.
Be it a dunsley, thermal store or there is a product with valves and stats etc mounted to a piece of wood :!:
Cant remember what its called.
