We have had an offer accepted on a house with the above. There are radiators. Two solar panels for elec and two to heat the hot water that has a thermostat.

The aga is solid fuel but there is gas to the property as they have an oven and gas hob.

How much would it cost to install a combi boiler and heating system like we currently have? Just the thought of havijg to keep the aga alight is scaring me to death?

A replacement quality combi boiler would cost about £2,000, and you could probably get it with a zero interest loan.
The only additional work required would be for the flue, and alteration to any gas and water pipework.
That would require a site visit to assess.
Your post is better suited to heating and plumbing forum. I've asked the mods to move it for you.

Depending on the existing layout, it might be worth considering a whole house assessment to ensure you are making best use of the solar water heating panels.
