Eurocylinder not turning on new gearbox

I have replaced the gearbox on a French door lock. I now cannot turn the Eurocyclinder key. It's a new Eurocylinder so should not be worn. The gearbox replacement is now allowing the handles to be lifted. But the key will not turn.


Any ideas?

Which gearbox is it? I had issues with a new gearbox a while back on a customers door where it had been squashed ( somehow ) , just enough to stop the mechanism from working correctly.
The internals of most gearboxes are actually fairly rudimentary, and the cam on the cylinder literally pushes a bar
Also could be that the 'handle ' movement isn't fully engaged as this would stop the cylinder from being able to push that ' bar '

Yes, looking at it now, I think the handle movement isn’t fully engaged. How do I remedy this? Maybe it’s time for a locksmith
