I want to move my feed & expansion tank to the other side of my loft where the roof is lower. Can anyone tell me the min. height that the expansion pipe should be above the tank? The system has pumped domestic hot water. Thanks Frank

That pipe is not the expansion pipe, it is the safety vent pipe. Unless you are prepared to sort out any difficulties when you have moved the tank, think carefully as to whether it needs moving. It may be ok, and you may have an interesting learning time.

well..as i recall 40mm per metre from botoom of the boiler to the water level in the cws plus 150mm.
summit like that or more will do.
dont forget to leave height acess to change any faulty bit in years to come....like the ball valve...regs say about 350mm
