Help, I want to (need to) change my bathroom basin tapes. The problem I am having is getting taps with long enough pipes (tails). My current taps have a 2.5 inch threaded pipe on them. New ones are shorter. the pipe they fit to is not flexi it comes out of the wall. Does any one know if I can buy these longer taps. Of know a way I can extend them, The issue is there is no play it has to be the correct size.

You can buy tap tail extensions. How short are the tap tails from the supply ?
