Extending into outside storage room

Hi There,

I am buying a house that has a side corridor and two small brick rooms that are currently used as storage. I plan to extend the kitchen into this corridor and into one of these rooms. It is a terraced house, so I was wondering if I need to build a second wall of bricks to provide insulation or the fact that there is the neighbor storage room on the side would provide enough thermal insulation.

Any advice welcome
