Hi I`m new to the forum, an i currently have 2 progects on the go,
One will be finished next week hopefully apart from new towel rails and shelves (need the Mrs to decide on some  )
I`e recently revamped my whole bathroom, tore down a stud wall as the lat and plaster was knackerd, new bath, new shower re-tiled it all new down lighters, plastered the new walls and made good some old ones.
I went through 3 baths in the space of a week, the first one broke when i was stripping tiles off the wall and half the wall collapsed in on the bath breaking it. so we went and got a VERY cheap sweet from B&Q and it was VERY cheap the bath was wafer thin and broke as i was installing it, so we went to bathstore.com and got a very nice shower bath and screen,

I have the plasterer coming next weekend to plaster the wall where the sink and toilet are then its new laminate more tiling and a lick of paint and its all done. at LAST!!!

The other should be breaking ground next month.
Its a single story extension and a conservatory on my brothers house.
Giving him a larger kitchen a cloak room, 2 new bedrooms and a conservatory.
He had a quote for 50+ thousand to do the job from a building firm that i was shocked at.
So i told him to arrange to get it all done him self. I`ve worked in the building industry since i was 18 and can do most of it my self.
there are a few snags... 1 my brother constantly changes his mind about what he wants.
As well as that i don`t know roofing so we`re struggling to find a roofer.
He also has a crappy detail on the roof, one side of the conservatory is fine the other side of the peak the consevatory is higher than the gutter line of the extension it rakes back onto the roof, witch will look rubbish as well as giving you an awkward little spot inside to keep clean.
What Id like to do is put a racking cut up the wall where the conservatory joins the wall and the put a gully in the roof leading up to it Think that would work?

I`ll update both projects with pics as they develop
