Is it advisable to use 2 connecting extension wires in a 1 outlet? And upon using extension wires is it true that it consumes more power?

Do you mean (1) can you extend the cables in the outlet's box using connectors or (2) can you extend the circuit from an outlet taking two separate feeds from the outlet?
(1) Yes that is acceptable and no more power would be used.
(2) It would depend on the circuit type: Light yes, Power sockets maybe, Socket circuits unlikely.
The use of power would only really be substantial if the the load output was increased on the circuit.
