I have 2 first floor picture window showing bare wood and in the need of painting along with masonry cills. I dont want to hire a scaffold so want it done as quickly and easily as possible from a ladder. I also have a dozen of half tins of paint to use up.

Thinking of washing, scraping, filling, priming then smooth masonry paint over wood as well as cills to seal it then exterior eggshell to finish.

Bit of a toshing job I know but it will mean less time on the ladder and make it weatherproof for a few years as well as using up old paint

Sand masonry paint before eggshell or finish with masonry paint ?
