Hi,
I have recently constructed and outside garden seat from 25mm marine ply that has been primed and painted with exterior masonry paint. On the top, horizontal surfaces, the paint has bubbled and split. The paint used is water-based.
Would replacing the part with one painted in OIL-BASED gloss be more able to stand up to the wet winter weather and water sitting on it for periods of time?
