Exterior painting pebbledash

Hi all

I want to get the outside render repainted to freshen it up, is it worth getting it pressure washed first to clean it up and remove any flaking paint? Seems to have been painted with a plasticy type paint. What to paint with sandex microseal

The blokes who did mine did pressure wash it first then painted it with Sandtex Smooth. Looks okay, certainly way way better than the original render. It has got a bit of black stuff growing on it in small areas so I will pressure wash again when we get a bit of sun. The black mold seems to be a bit of a thing in this god forsaken part of the world (wales)
