I have recently bought a victorian terrace and the outside was clearly last painted some time ago.

In general the areas flat to the wall are dirty but the paint is mostly still complete barring the odd small crack.

However the areas flat to the sky (top of bays and window lintels) barely have any paint left on them.

Is the below the correct process?

1. Pressure wash the whole lot
2. Apply stabiliser to the exposed areas
3. Paint top of bay with waterproof paint
4. Paint everything else with masonry paint

tips welcome....

Powerwash, try and use a turbo nozzle
stabliser probably not needed.

the latest Water Based acrylics are better, try trade paint supplier rather than DIY stores. eVEN BETTER LOOK UP Nano-Technology wall coating. Great coverage, heat reflecting and good for many more years than most.
