External Insulation

Hi, I'm new to this forum and what a great one it is!

Have a big project coming up and there are a boat load of problems including subsidence, damp, roofing, rewire, rot, windows and heating, most of which are straight forward, but one thing at a time!

Looking into solid wall insulation solutions and wondered if anyone has experience with external insulation? The rendering needs complete replacement (no proper maintenance for 60 years or so) and I've read about insulating the outside. Could insulate the insides with the normal methods but with the render coming off anyway, though this might be an option.

Has anyone had any experience or know how it all works, who, links etc?

Hey thanks for that!
Have had a look at a few but just wondering if anyone has used this type of render and how it compares (in cost) to standard render and internal insulation. Render prep and internal insulation would not attract labour costs.
