maybe you could try, using the fugi wash/weedkiller in a power wash. This might help to remove the remaining ivy. If that fails, and the ivy can still be seen, you might want to consider using a textured masonry paint instead. This will help to reduce the appearance of any unsightly or uneven surfaces,(This is also available in dulux). The weathershield all seasons is great, but it is still only smooth and will not hide any imperfections any better than the normal water-based masonry.

As for the sadolin,..That is also a great product, But, If you would like a more supirior product, I would go with sikkens.
