The whole house at some point as had some type of coating applied badly , probably in the 90s. Over time some movement cracks appeared and water ingress made the coating blow and fall off. Builder patched in with render at some point and now I am being asked paint for friend. Question for those out there is there a way or a product I can use to recreate the sort of stipple effect in the images below , I include an area of the patches wall aswell . It's not a full stipple as the coating looks to have flakes in it . Once matched in as best I can I was planning to use bedec extra flex paint to try and reduce hairline cracks for a while at least and make the patches less visible. A fairly large house so re-render is not an option as owner is not that flush .

Charliediy covered filling cracks in render on YouTube. Go watch.

Looks like course sand in paint rolled on. Rough texture finish.
Also sand texture.

Not sure what the correct name is but that's what it looks like
