What material would last the longest for external wall lamps?

Polycarbonate, die cast aluminium or stainless teel?
I need to buy seven new wall lamps and I want them to last as long as possible.

Thanks...Sean

I have replaced cast aluminium bulkhead fittings on a farm, I guess they were about 20 years old. They suffer from a white encrustation. Also any steel fixing screws rust incrediblely quickly. Then Plastic is made brittle by the ultra violet rays from the sun. I think I would go for ali with all steel clips screws hinge pins etc. are well greased in an attempt to keep the rust at bay.
